EDB Announces Class Suspension and Adjusts P1 Application Deadline
教育局宣布全港學校明日（9月23日）及後日（9月24日）將停課及小一報名延期 2025-09-22

Considering the Hong Kong Observatory's latest forecast, to ensure students’ safety and to avoid students leaving the school when the weather may rapidly deteriorate, the Education Bureau (EDB) announces that classes in all schools will be suspended tomorrow (September 23) and the following day (September 24). During the class suspension period, schools will not accept paper applications for discretionary places under the Primary One Admission (POA) 2026. The deadline for submitting paper applications has been extended to September 30 (Tuesday). Parents may also choose to submit e-applications via the POA e-Platform (https://epoa.edb.gov.hk/) on or before September 26 (Friday). Details are available on the EDB’s website.

教育局考慮到天文台的預測，為確保學生安全，避免學生於天氣可能急速轉壞的情況下離開學校，教育局宣布所有學校明日（九月二十三日）及後日（九月二十四日）將停課。停課期間，學校暫停接收二○二六年度小一入學自行分配學位的紙本申請。有關紙本申請的截止日期延至九月三十日（星期二）。家長亦可選擇於九月二十六日（星期五）或之前透過「小一入學電子平台」（https://epoa.edb.gov.hk/）遞交電子申請，詳情載於教育局網頁。
