"Speak Well, Read Well Cantonese & Putonghua — 2026 Putonghua Summer Award Scheme" Extension Activities

本校四至六年級學生於剛過去的暑假積極參與由教育局主辦的「能言善讀普通話——2026普通話暑期獎勵計劃」，並獲邀於 2026 年 10 月 10 日參與相關延伸活動，旨在讓學生在課堂以外多接觸普通話，培養良好自學習慣並提升口語溝通能力。活動中，同學們透過字詞及篇章朗讀、命題說話等多元口語任務展現平日自主學習成果，不僅於實戰演練中磨練了普通話口語能力與了解學習成效，更勇於表達自我，增進公開表達的自信心，累積寶貴的口語實踐經驗，而參與同學亦獲頒發出席證書以作鼓勵。

Our Primary 4 to Primary 6 students actively participated in the "Speak Well, Read Well Putonghua — 2026 Putonghua Summer Award Scheme" organized by the Education Bureau during the recent summer break. Subsequently, they were invited to attend the scheme's extension activity on October 10, 2026. Designed to expose students to Putonghua beyond the classroom, the activity aimed to foster good self-learning habits and enhance their oral communication skills.

During the event, students showcased their independent learning achievements through diverse oral tasks, including word and passage recitation as well as topic-based speaking. Through these practical exercises, students not only sharpened their spoken Putonghua and gained a clearer understanding of their learning progress, but also expressed themselves courageously, boosted their confidence in public speaking, and gained valuable real-world communication experience. All participating students were awarded certificates of attendance in recognition of their efforts.
